Benjamin Cintron

Benjamin “Ben” Cintron, of Waukesha, died on Friday, December 31, 2010 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme at the age of 61. For 12 years he had worked at Midwest Finishing and 10 years at Rembrant Commercial Cleaning. Ben enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, was an avid exerciser, and had a special love for animals and supported the Human Animal Welfare Society (HAWS). He had a kind heart and always helped everyone, especially the poor and homeless of Waukesha.  He will be sadly missed by his wife Samantha (nee Brahm) of Waukesha, his son: Luis A. Escalante of Florida and his children: Yarymar, Xamarie, Yalethxa; his daughters Denise Cintron and her children: Yazel and Yarialis and Lillian Cintron and her son Jomar; Samantha’s son and Ben’s fishing buddy Joshua Kass; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lee and Diane Brahm of Pewaukee; his siblings: Flora (the late Benjamin) Rivera of New Jersey and her children, Angel Luis Cintron of Puerto Rico and his children, Carmen M. (Junior) Rodriguez of New Jersey and their children Gladys, George, Alfredo and Maria, Angel Manuel of Puerto Rico and his child, Mercedes Rosario of New Jersey and her children, Wilfredo Rosario of New Jersey and her children, Luz Maria Rosario of New Jersey and her children, Nelida Diaz of Delaware and her children, Jose Rosario of Delaware and Demesio Rosario of Puerto Rico. He is further survived by his best friends Martin “Nito” Moran and Armando Seda, his parents that helped raise him Felipe Torrez and Olga Rosado, his “sister” Virgen M. Rivera, favorite uncle Cecilio Cintron “Chilo” of Puerto Rico, and his four legged companions Huberto “Floyd” Hernandez, Fiona “FiFi” and Gizmo “Nemo”. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruperto Cintron and Margarita Andino and his brother Ismael Rosario. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha Rehabilitation Hospital and Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice for all their care and compassion. Also a special thank you to everyone at Homes for Independent Living for your support. Lastly the family wishes to extend their appreciation to Lee and Diane Brahm for their care and assistance during Ben’s journey.     Burial will be held in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. Memorials donations may be made to the family and sent to Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
